Conceptualizing the supplier switching process: an example from public procurement

Purpose This paper aims to develop a framework for switching service supplier in supply network. Design/methodology/approach The study builds on existing literature the field of purchasing and management, public procurement (PP) Industrial Marketing Purchasing approach, as well an illustrative example case, from PP context, switch delivery process. Findings During process, buyer must simultaneously manage ending relationship with incumbent beginning new supplier.
